Nationalities & Identities [Assembly]

For many years, I didn’t know how to handle my nationalities. Sure, I’m an Australian, but I hardly have any stint of the Australian accent other than some squint of “mate” peppered in my conversations.

When I look at my past, I see a pattern. I grew up in Indonesia, yet the first time I ever said that I was Indonesian was when I was outside it.
